DodgeLab ("we", "us", "our") built Wave Dodger as a free, ad-supported game. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Wave Dodger does not require account registration or login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information directly.

However, the following data may be collected automatically through third-party services integrated into the app:

• Advertising ID (Google Ad ID) — Used by Google AdMob to serve relevant advertisements. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
• Device information — Device model, OS version, screen size, and language preference may be collected by ad and analytics services for performance optimization.
• Gameplay data — High scores and nicknames (user-chosen, not real names) may be transmitted to Firebase Realtime Database for the global leaderboard feature. This data is associated with a randomly generated anonymous code, not your personal identity.
• Purchase information — In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment information.

2. Third-Party Services

Wave Dodger uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob (advertising) — Google Privacy Policy

3. Advertising

Wave Dodger displays interstitial and rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your Advertising ID and device information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your device settings. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings under Google → Ads.

4. Data Storage

Game progress (scores, items, settings) is stored locally on your device using the browser's localStorage within the WebView. This data is not transmitted to any server except for leaderboard scores as described above. Uninstalling the app will delete all local data.

5. Children's Privacy

Wave Dodger is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to play. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Device Sensors

Wave Dodger uses your device's orientation sensor (gyroscope/accelerometer) for tilt-based steering controls. This sensor data is processed entirely on your device in real-time and is never transmitted, stored, or shared.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Local game data can be deleted by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. Leaderboard data stored on Firebase is retained for the duration of the monthly season and may be deleted periodically. To request deletion of your leaderboard data, please contact us at the email below.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings
• Reset your Advertising ID at any time
• Request deletion of any leaderboard data associated with your anonymous ID
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
